Rand Water Learnerships are generally available in fields associated with water, including the following: Water Agents Water Care Water Purification Water Resource Management Water Utilization Sanitation Plumbing Microbiology Analytical Chemistry Fitter Welder Rand Water Learnerships run over the course of 36 months, whereby students receive hands-on experience and expert training in the field. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and required to attend an interview – if you do not receive any feedback, regard your application as unsuccessful.
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Rand Water is a water utility company in South Africa, responsible for supplying potable water to residents of Gauteng and various other areas in the country. Previously known as the “Rand Water Board”, Rand Water is the biggest water utility on the African continent. Rand Water draws water from various sources, it is then purified before being supplied to local municipalities, industry and mining.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- South African citizen
- Under the age of 35 years old
- Completed Matric
- Passed Mathematics and Science in Matric
- Completed a Degree or Diploma qualification (dependent on the field of application)
- Good command of the English language (able to read, write and speak English)
- NOT currently employed
- Willing to work in the water industry
- Able to work well both individually and within a team
